MSD – Preventing Musculoskeletal Disorders at Work

2 hours

🔬 Pourquoi cet atelier ?

🧍‍♂️ Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the leading cause of occupational illness in Europe. They particularly affect sedentary positions, where rigid posture in front of a screen causes neck, back, and joint pain.
👉 Ignoring this problem is costly in absenteeism and reduced performance. In business, taking action to prevent MSDs means investing in the health, productivity, and long-term comfort of employees.

🎯 Quels bénéfices pour vos équipes ?

✔ Clear understanding of the causes and impacts of MSDs on health and performance

✔ Ability to identify and correct one's own risky movements and postures

✔ Acquisition of simple relaxation techniques and active micro-breaks

✔ Prevention of chronic pain related to a sedentary lifestyle

✔ Improved comfort and well-being at work, with a direct impact on productivity

🌀 Comment se déroule la séance ?

This workshop is designed to be lively and interactive: here, we don't just sit and listen; we move, we observe, we experiment.

The session begins with an awareness of everyday movements, often mechanical and repetitive, which over time create tension, pain, and fatigue. Everyone discovers how small, simple adjustments can soothe the body while remaining efficient at work.

Together, we identify sensitive areas—shoulders, wrists, lower back, knees—and learn to recognize warning signs before they become problematic.

Then comes the practical work:

Corrective gestures to protect joints and better distribute weight

Joint mobilizations to regain flexibility

Easy stretches to repeat directly at the workstation

Breathing techniques to release tension in a few minutes

The workshop ends with a time for participatory discussion, where everyone can share a small, concrete change to implement the next day.

👉 Result: participants leave with a more relaxed body, greater awareness of their movements and a real practical toolbox to maintain their health on a daily basis.
